Our friend and colleague Jim Stout from our media partner MaxPreps.com just reported some info on Chaminade’s 10-4 win today over Massapequa in a Nassau County clash.
Here’s Jim’s report:
Chaminade jumped to 4-0 lead in the first quarter but Massapequa got a goal late in the first, then drew within 4-3 in the second quarter.
Matt Gillan’s goal with one second left in the half restored a two-goal lead for Chaminade at 5-3. The Flyers led 7-4 after three before putting game away in the fourth with three unanswered goals.
Senior John Paul Sullivan (bound for Skidmore) scored four goals for Chaminade while Robert Lucas (Princeton) scored twice and Daniel Textor (Providence) had two assists.
Ian Lukaszewicz, Jamie Shand, Mike Gianbamco and Nick Auletta scored for Massapequa.
