Among the leading vote-getters is the annual Lakeland/Panas vs. Yorktown Charlie Murphy Cup game.
One of the most memorable games in the history of that rivalry came in 1991 when Yorktown pulled out a dramatic 9-8 overtime win.

A “Dream Team” of former Syracuse stars that included Roy Colsey, the Powell brothers, Ric Beardsley, Rob Kavovit and Paul Carcaterra took on Rusty Red in the Division 1 championship game of the masters competition of the 20th annual Lake Placid Summit Classic this past weekend.
Colsey had four goals for Burnt Orange but Rusty Red won 12-10. Former Nyack and Princeton star Jon Hess and Bethpage native and former Hopkins star A.J. Haugen were among the standouts for Rusty Red.
