One of the more intriguing college games this weekend pairs No. 5-seeded Stony Brook against the top-ranked team in the coaches’ poll, Virginia.
The teams meet at noon at Stony Brook’s LaValle Stadium. But the Cavaliers will be minus the Bratton twins, Rhamel and Shamel, who were suspended for today’s game for violating team rules and did not make the trip back home to Long Island. There has been no word on when they will return to the lineup.
Are the Seawolves a legitimate national title contender?
The New York Times examines that very question today in a story by Brian Heyman. You can check it out here.
