Harry Razook, a standout attackman for Rye Country Day, has decided he will continue his lacrosse career at Division III power Washington and Lee.

Here’s a Q&A we completed with Harry on his commitment.

What were the main factors in your decision to attend Washington and Lee?
Even though Washington and Lee is a small, liberal arts college, they still offer an undergraduate business program. I also found the Honor Code to be appealing because it makes the school campus into a safe and friendly environment.

What other schools were you considering and what schools did you visit?
I visited Bowdoin, Trinity, Dartmouth, Williams, Amherst, Middlebury and Tufts.

What adjustments do you think you will need to make to play at the next level?
I will definitely need to work on my strength and my vision because the kids at the next level are only going to be faster and stronger.

What are your strengths as a player and how would you describe your style of play?
My strength is my quickness, which allows me to be the quarterback of the offense from X.

What players have you looked up to as you have moved up through the varsity ranks?
J.P. Garry and Cody Levine (Dartmouth and Cornell, respectively) played attack with me at RCDS for my first three years of high school and both helped me mature a great deal as a player and a person.

Harry is a really great attack man at RCDS. I can’t wait to hear what he’s doing at W&L mainly because of his truly exciting style of play. He’s pretty much the man
