As far as fall ball goes, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better venue than West Point, where the fall foliage and the scenic images of the Hudson provided a perfect backdrop for a busy day of action today involving Stony Brook, Marist and the host Black Knights.

For a recap, check out this story I filed for InsideLacrosse.com.

Joe great coverage of this. You did such a thorough job of this long day of lax I feel like I was there. I especially like how you put the hometowns of each player mentioned in parenthese after there name. Nice touch and very helpful.

Former John Jay star Chris Daniello has been named a captain at two-time national champions Syracuse. I just received an e-mail from Syracuse assistant athletics communications director with the news, including a press release that also appears on SU’s lacrosse Web page.

Wow great stuff congratulations Chris. Hard work pays off. Nice props for JJ

  4. Joe Lombardi Says:

Congrats to former Yorktown all-American Tom Interlicchio, who was just named a captain at Hofstra. Interlicchio, who is a senior midfielder, was elected in a vote by his teammates, which makes the honor even more significant.

  5. sec1fan Says:

Congrats TI, definitley deserved! One of the hardest working athletes I met in a while!

Lots of Interlicchio/Daniello brother news lately! haha…Congrats to both families.

And Kevin and Mike will be playing together on the same attack line, how cool is that?
